Embark on your afterlife journey after the opening of the mouth ceremony on your mummy by Anubis. Protected by the Eye of Horus (Wadjet), you will navigate the underworld realm of Osiris. Prepare to challenge an invisible adversary inside an Egyptian hidden tomb in The Valley of the Queens, situated adjacent to the renowned Valley of the Kings, on the west bank of the Nile river across from Thebes (Luxor).

Senet, a board game originating from predynastic and ancient Egypt, represents the earliest known record of backgammon, checkers, and chess-like games. Originating around 3500 BC, Senet held great significance, evolving from royalty's recreational activity to a religious ritual by the mid-13th century BC.

The game serves as a metaphor for the afterlife, with players' movements mirroring a soul's journey through the netherworld post-death. Reaching Horus and departing the netherworld symbolizes attaining rebirth with revered Egyptian deities.

The game board comprises 30 squares or slots arranged in three horizontal rows of ten. Pawns traverse these rows per specific rules influenced by Timothy Kendall's work on passing Through the Netherworld: The Meaning and Play of Senet, an Ancient Egyptian Funerary Game.

Featuring authentic photos of ancient Egyptian temples and artistically crafted graphics, Egyptian Senet immerses players in a tomb-like chamber ambiance. Engaging music and sound effects enhance the gameplay experience, recreating predynastic Egypt's atmosphere.
